Bo is a drop dead gorgeous chocolate labrador retreiver sire. He has the look of a studious dog and although he can be, he is usually busy making you laugh. He is truly one of the family and a lot of fun to have around. Both of our boys wrestle and over the years Bo thinks he wrestles too. They have practiced moves on him so long that he now tries to pin them. Sometimes before he is about to pull a fast one on them, he will look at me and smile. He has this huge Labrador grin when he is up to something or when he is having fun. When Bo is out in public he thinks that every one that he sees is excited to see him. He has thrown beautiful, smart, and very social all chocolate lab puppies. He is athletic, fast, and very muscular. On the retrieve, he is as fast out as he is coming back. He has great drive and energy and can seem to work for hours. He has no fear when it comes to dense cover, I think he actually looks for it. He leaps in with tail high in the air and always alert. He is the type of dog that hunts "with you" as opposed to being there doing his own thing. He is very eager to please and is a beautiful dog. His temperament is such that he is a great addition to any blind and is also great around the house. One incident that I will never forget was when one of the boys emptied the dishwasher. Sandy being sarcastic made a big deal of it and told Matthew "what a good boy, come here and give mommy a hug". As she said this she threw open her arms to give Matthew a hug. As Matthew was walking over to her, Bo appeared out of nowhere, rose onto his hind legs and threw his arms around Sandy. Of course Sandy hugged him and said "oh, it was you who emptied the dishwasher", Bo as usual just grinned. If you are considering purchasing a chocolate lab puppy, it would be hard to do better than one of Bo's beautiful, chuncky dark chocolate puppies.
