| About Us | Welcome to the next generation of Stargate Kennels genetics. We have worked with David at Stargate for the last 6+ years, as he is gradually transitioning into deserved retirement we are continuing the legacy, breeding these gorgeous loving chocolate lab puppies for families all over the US and Canada. That being said we are taking a slightly different direction. I love the hunt, and the companionship of an alert eager chocolate labrador retriever next to me in the blind trembling in anticipation, sensing the approaching birds long before I can hear them, a faithful athlete tensed in the starting blocks waiting for my signal to begin the retrieve. |

| Son Michael shares my passion, so we are placing a bit more emphasis on breeding for performance in the field. That is not to say we are ignoring the value of a gentle well mannered family companion. The two traits are not incompatable. We have taken the foundation Stargate genetics and added fresh lines from different breeders in Oregon, Wisconsin and North Dakota to reinforce the performance aspect while still retaining the wonderful personaliity of a faithful loving family companion. I think we are achieving our goals. Please take some time to have a good look at what we've done. We'd love the privilege of delivering your new puppy. |
